: CD and DVD ROM’s can now be copy protected thanks to SecuROM™. Whilst ensuring that the data contained on the DVD or CD is not affected in any way, the application of SecuROM™ to your CD and DVD creations will prevent pirating of your software.

The SecuROM™ system uses an authentication process to ensure only original discs will correctly function in the drive. Tests have shown SecuROM™ to be highly effective against cracking tools and disc emulator software.
