Here are some of the more unusual options for packaging CDs and DVDs.  From Tins to Wood to moulded plastic cases or "Triggerpaks", these are certainly guaranteed to add to the uniqueness of your product!!

B/Boxes: A hinged metallic case with room for a booklet available in 8cm or 12cm sizes. The CD or DVD is displayed very effectively against a flat metal backing and is held in place using a raised circle of metal with no centre. The case is about the same size as a standard Jewel Case so all standard paper parts will fit (See below for more information). The case can also be embossed if required.

Burgopak: A CD or DVD sized case with a cunningly hidden sliding mechanism that allows the disc to be revealed from one side of the pack by pulling a tab on the opposite side!   This package is also available in a two-tray format, holding one CD or DVD on either side.  The pack can be printed to your own unique artwork and has already been used in foreign countries for popular movies such as "Wayne's World 2" and "Be Cool".

C-Shells: Named after their shape, the C-Shell pack is simply a thin plastic protection of a slightly bigger size than the CD or DVD itself, allowing for lightweight protection and a snug fit. The CD or DVD is placed onto the circular button on one side and the other hinged side clipped onto the button to close. Clear C-Shells are extremely effective when used with AB-CD’s, and other colours are available.

Dimplepak: The creatively named Dimplepak is a circular CD or DVD case made from flexible plastic. The Dimplepak is formed from two halves of plastic with small inset circles, available in numerous different colours depending on your individual taste or requirement. Your CD or DVD fits neatly inside and both halves seal together to complete the effect.

Discbox Slider: The Discbox Slider had a unique "open and shut" mechanism that perfectly caters for promotional 12cm discs. It is easy to open thanks to the cut out for thumb and grip for forefinger and It is made of durable card that does not easily crack or break. Card is the only component used in making the Discboc Slider making it very environmentally friendly!

E-Slimcase / Triggerpak / Ejector Case: A slim CD or DVD case with a fully moving mechanism available in various colours, the E-Slimcase ensures the CD or DVD is fully protected and secured into place using plastic stabilisers. Its clear shell allows the label to be seen and a plastic lever pushes the CD or DVD out of its stabilisers and out of its case.

Expericard: A 12cm or 8cm postcard solution for sending out CDs or DVDs to individuals.  Adresses can be printed directly onto the card or attached using a printed label.  Dischromatics can also provide a fulfilment option.

Magic Tray: The Magic Tray solution is perfect to draw attention to an otherwise standard Jewel Case!  Magic Tray is a stick, filled with one or more clear or coloured liquids as well as floating objects or glitter and inserted into the spine of the Jewel Case.

PP Mailcase / Trimpak: The PP Mailcase (available on duplication orders only) and the Trimpak (mainly available on replication orders) are very closely related to each other.  The case is made from a clear flexible plastic with a central "hub" to fit into the centre of your CD or DVD and remain securely closed.  The case is basically a square C-Shell.

Sierra Box: The Sierra Box is useful for software publishers as well as anyone else who requires a larger outer box to house CD's/DVD's with leaflets and/or booklets.  This option is particularly useful when products require shelf stacking, for example in shops.  Personalise your product by printing on your Sierra Box, or customise its entire design!

Smartbox: This circular, unhinged tin is perfectly formed to house your CD or DVD. With a raised area in the centre of the base to facilitate the removal of the CD or DVD, and a separate lid which can be embossed as required the Smartbox will really make your products stand out.

Square Tins: Metallic Silver CD Cases that protect your products in style! Available in 8cm or 12cm size, with or without hinges and containing a black plastic tray to hold the CD or DVD in place, these rectangular tins are a great alternative to standard plastic cases.

Vacuum Pack: Vacuum Packs can be supplied in many different shapes, sizes and colours.  Packs can be designed to your own requirements to hold CDs and DVDs attached directly to the pack itself or contained within jewel cases, DVD cases or any other form of packaging.  Booklets of any shape or size with any number of pages can also be produced and packed into your vacuum pack.

Woodcraft Pack: A completely wooden CD or DVD case! A new concept in the world of packaging, this box is fully crafted from two pieces of veneered wood, hinged together. The back is indented to hold the CD or DVD, with a central foam “button” to secure it whilst allowing easy release. Handy indents are provided around the outside to facilitate removal. The front also has an indent to house a booklet. The Woodcraft box can have information burnt onto it to add to the uniqueness of this product.
