ISO14001:2004 Environment
Dischromatics is accredited to the Environmental ISO14001 standard, and takes "green" issues very seriously, from energy saving and recycling on site to the sourcing of environmentally-friendly products from suppliers. The environment is becoming more and more of a concern in todays climate, yet pricing remains key in obtaining business. Dischromatics realises this is the case and does not seek to profit from the Green concerns of others and has a wide range of environmentally-friendly packaging solutions available that are proportionately no more expensive than their standard counterparts. From recycled papers and vegetable inks, right through to carbon neutral solutions, Dischromatics takes the environmental legacy of our business extremely seriously. Our Digital Print Production set-up is no exception, with papers being sourced from FSC-approved suppliers and all stocks from managed, sustainable forests. Dischromatics will also consider applying for FSC accreditation once our print system is up and running smoothly, so as not to disrupt supply to clients. The toners used in the Digital Printer are also organically grown, again from a sustainable source. We have been audited by SGS and accredited to the ISO14001:2004 standard since September 2005.
